Alzheimer's Patients

ID bracelets are not just for kids. We have all seen too many stories on the evening news about Alzheimer's patients having wondered off and gotten lost, not knowing how to get back home, even if it's right around the corner. Unfortunately, this has become all too common. It is estimated that as many as 5 million Americans are currently living with Alzheimer's, and there is a new diagnosis every 71 seconds of every day. It is a progressive disease causing memory loss and difficulty with every day activities. And it has no cure.

If you know someone who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, or who is experiencing some of the early symptoms, we urge you to seek medical assistance for your loved one and a support group for yourself as caregiver. As part of your care-giving, you may want to provide our color-coded ID wristbands to your family member, as an extra level of safety and security for those times when you are not nearby, or when they are at Adult Daycare or Assisted Living outings.
