Our Story

ChildIDWristbands.com is owned by two parents who met at a child's martial arts school. Determined to make their kids one less statistic by providing them with self defense skills, and lamenting the stories in the newspaper about a child who was lost at a vacation resort or a theme park, one of the parents discovered a website that sold temporary ID wristbands specifically for the purpose of vacation. This seemed like a brilliant idea because a more permanent solution such as an embossed bracelet, usually has the parents home phone number. With this tyvek, as-needed wristband solution, the parents can have their cellphone number, or the number of the chaperone of the field trip, or their hotel information, whatever they want. It can be anything because they are for whatever specific situation the family is in.

Excited about the possibilities this product could offer, and the prospect of making a difference in parents' lives who share their tenacity about keeping kids safe, these two parents didn't just buy wristbands, they bought the whole business and have expanded it to what you see today.
